Second of all, Sunday report. And I just remembered something else we talked about during dinner on Saturday - we were making fun of cosplayers again. ARE WE HARDCORE YET

Anyway, uh, I got up decently early to work on my costumeshits but I didn't actually get to working on them until after breakfast since I realized that I didn't have my scissors. I asked the hotel clerk for scissors, but theirs were dull and couldn't even cut the fabric. >: So I had to walk all the way over to Jenna's hotel to get them back, even though it was just one hotel over, lol. It was kind of cold outside. ;-; I.. got my scissors back and stuff, though, so I went back and worked a bit on my boots and my cloak. I didn't manage to get my boots done, so I didn't wear Simon, but I got my cloak finished right before we were about to leave. There were some movies playing on the TV, one was this old cop comedy movie that I don't know the name of, and another one about this black janitor guy who thought he was a secret agent or something, idk. >: I think his name was Jake. eh, I'll look it up later.

But uh, we got to the con at.. 11? or so. We didn't end up having Kamina pancakes since Jenna had to check out of her room too, oh well. I ran into Jenna as I was making my way over to the con, though, and she was getting Hibari together... holy crap, she looked like Hanyaan, lol. She kept on denying it BUT IT'S TRUE SHE EVEN AGREED LATER.

Yeah, we went inside and we lined up to get her a pass, and we ran into Giselle and her sister and friend as they were coming in. They pointed out that they had seen a fail Kamina and Yoko go in somewhere, so we ended up getting out of line to look for them. We saw them somewhere later in the line, so we.. got a picture of them. To post on /cgl/. lol we're such dicks :( but yeah, they were pretty fail. Hot pink socks and spraypainted hair. Yoko might have been win with a good wig and... less bright socks, but... ugh. D:

Well, we didn't end up getting back into line after we got out, but there weren't really any panels we were going to go to anyway. We went upstairs and just loitered around with kawaiidesufalseloli for a while, and then I saw Minato from the balcony and we made exaggerated hand gestures to each other until she finally came upstairs to tell me that she was going to the dealer's room for a while. lol D:

So then I went over to sit on this white ledge thing with Jenna and Giselle, and then we decided to take sum pictures of their Reborn cosplays. So... 10 or 20 DYNAMIC POSES and stock poses on the stairs later, we... decided to stop. Crotchgrab Hibari was fucking hilarious though, especially the zoom. ): But uh, yeah, we quit after some pictures we tried to get on the escalators failed. We walked over to Denny's after that.

It was filled with cosplayers, man. D: Right across from the convention center, though, so it's kind of obvious that it would be like that. Went in, got our food, and then.. we cut our pancakes into the GL skull and glasses and put them on top of each other. shit lol

I also ate the whippedcreambutter thing that was on top of my pancakes by itself. D: it was gross. oh my god I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM but it was supposed to be butter AND IT DIDN'T TASTE LIKE BUTTER. :( I.. I ate the whole thing. It wasn't as bad as the time I ate that packet of sweet n' low though. That was just gross.

And I also found out that Giselle lives around 15 minutes away from me, what the fuck. I thought she lived in Ft. Lauderdale or somewhere.. not close to me, lol.

OKAY I'VE HAD THIS OPEN FOR THREE WEEKS I'M FINISHING IT NOW. WE WENT BACK TO THE CON AND WE FOUND MINATO AND THEN WE FORCED HIM TO DRESS UP LIKE DIST AND THEN WE TOOK PICTURES. AND THEN JENNA STUCK A SYRINGE IN THE HOLE IN TOKUNAGA'S BUTT. AND IT WAS KINDA FUNNY.

Anyway, Saturday! Yeah.

I got up at around 5:30, though I was supposed to wake up at 3:45 after a little nap to finish working on costumes. I obviously didn't end up getting them done before we left at 8:10 or :20, my Anise costume was still lacking a cloak and boots and my Simon costume and Jade costume were just both unfinished. Screw the boots, I ended up taking my Haruhi shoes for Anise and stuffing everything for Simon into a bag and bringing my sewing machine along. I didn't have any white bias tape left to use on Jade anyway, so I just didn't bring him.

Car ride on the way there was longer than I expected. Mostly spent the time brushing out the wig and putting it into pigtails the best that I could, then watching the scenery outside and listening to my mp3 player. I didn't play my DS at all, which was surprising, considering that I did want to get my Etrian Odyssey characters leveled a bit. Oh well.

We got there at around 11. >: Too late to enter the costume contest, obviously, not that I could have with an unfinished costume. None of the other TotA people were there anyway, so it was okay. Got my passes and then found Jenna upstairs, hanging out with some Okami cosplayers --- jesus christ I still need to get that game don't I. D: Doublechin was also there, o lol, it took me a minute or so to notice her because she was just standing there and.. not saying anything. It was kind of creepy. She also looks worse IRL than in pictures. Jesus fucking christ.

The Okami cosplayers walked around with us for a little while more and then left, so we were just left alone with Doublechin and.. yeah. :| We were trying to figure out how to make a strategic retreat until she left to go to her hotel room for something, fuckyeah. We ended up going to Jenna's hotel room because I wanted to drop my stuff off and she was going to change into Viral, so yeah.

The walk there was pretty funny, actually. The wind was blowing pretty hard and it was chilly outside, so I was obviously complaining about my ass and how cold it was. Loudly. We were walking behind some KH cosplayers that I recognized from the two other cons, and they were yelling at someone in a car --- jesus christ it was hilarious. D:

pffff-- yeah, I laughed. I never actually really talked to that Axel, but she was the one that picked me up at Chibi-Pa. oh god. D: Anyway, we ended up crossing over through three or four parking lots, talked to a Mexican guy in a cab in the first parking lot we went through. lolwtf

We also passed a guy in a BICYCLE CHARIOT LOL. I couldn't think of the name for them so I pulled "bicycle chariot" out of my ass. I don't know how. B-but we're riding in one of those when we do Adiane and Viral. >: We.. we also talked about Kalajessta's Cecille and then ended up talking about the lesbian that has the hots for Cecille in the game. Haha, I actually kind of like that character, her dialogue amuses me. >: but yeah, just.. random shit like always.

We ended up having to camp outside her hotel room since she didn't have a room key and her mom was out shopping, so I started hand-sewing my sock things while she played Cooking Mama on my DS. fuck lol, I have pictures of it but it doesn't show the game that's on the screen. And we were just being general dicks and attracting odd looks from the hotel staff, while blocking up the hallway with our shit. But uh, her mom did end up coming half an hour later so we went in and had cake. and. shit. >: She changed into Viral, and then we made fun of her doujins in odd voices. D: Jade/Lefty fff- LEFTY.

we.. we ended up leaving after an hour or so. around two hours spent in Orlando already and most of it was in a hotel room. lol

But I put on my Simon wig and core drill while still wearing a gay pink dress, for the lulz. >: I wanted an excuse to wear it, so.. I made one. Nobody knew about who the hell I was, but that's okay. ;-; They all thought I was a Simon-Nia hybrid. lol

We saw a King Kittan cosplay on the way up, FUCK YEAH. I was the one that pointed it out on the escalatorin the first place -- I didn't think it would actually be KING KITTAN because we could only see the back, but it turned out to be. fucking win. I heard he was acting like a jackass for a bit, though. Oh well.

I.. I'm not sure what we did when we got back, holy fuck. We just wandered around for a bit after getting bored of waiting in line, and went upstairs. We found the P3 cosplayers, fuck yeah, and I got a picture of Minato and Yukari. There were two separate groups, one with Minato and Yukari and the other with Mitsuru, Junpei, Yukari, and Aigis, but I didn't get a picture of the latter. Oh well. I wanted to give Minato my wig so badly, since she didn't have one. ;-; ffff, it would have been perfect too.

Well, the line got shorter after we walked around for a little bit trying to find the other Viral that was at the con, so we went back downstairs to get her a pass. And then we went into the dealer's room and bought some dippin' dots. wtf

We were trying to find a Kamina figure somewhere in there, but.. it didn't exist! holy fuck! I actually did have the money to buy one too, so it was kind of disappointing that we couldn't find one. ;-; Fucking huge dealer's room was fucking huge, though. it was bigger than an XBOX. I think we would have gotten lost if we hadn't been holding hands like faggots all the way around the dealer's room.

We went out and saw Viral on the balcony, so we basically rushed upstairs to meet her. I got a picture of the embrace. ;-; it was BEAUTIFUL. But yeah, another /cgl/ faggot found. She wasn't that bad, except her suit was bright red and she didn't bind or have a wig, but it was okay since she only started the costume around a week or so before. >: But yeah, we found out that there was a Commander Simon hanging around too, so we ended up just leaning over the railing half the time watching all of the people that were coming out of the dealer's room.

I wandered off to find the Simon and failed, so I went back, and they had somehow migrated to the other side of the balcony thing -- and they had GOLDFISH CRACKERS LOL. The Okami cosplayers were also there. So we.. sat there throwing crackers at each other and tossing goldfish over the ledge. Also, staring at someone across the gap and waiting for them to notice us. I don't think they ever did. ): I did find out that I still have terrible aim even at close range, though. shit, lol

I ended up going back down and into the dealer's room to find Simon again, and succeeded after walking around like a dumbass several times. He thought I was a SimonNia hybrid too, but that's okay. ;-; He was kind of fail, b-but it was COMMANDER SIMON FUCK YEAH. Jesus christ, I think I almost jumped on the guy I was so excited to see him. Told him to meet up with us upstairs, but he didn't come out for a little bit so we went downstairs to find him, wtf. I saw a cute Hanyuu while we were downstairs though. I'd her horns, lol. ;-;

We didn't end up finding him so we ended up going back upstairs, and I got on Pictochat with my DS since one of the people we were with had one out too. >: Oh god, it was just people drawing dongs and spamming 4chan memes. I lost the game. :( But uh, yeah. dongs. And Ryuk singing chawklit rain. It was amusing for a little while.

Commander Simon finally passed by us a little while later and didn't notice us. We... tackled him screaming his name. D: FUCK YEAH SIMON

After that, Giselle found us upstairs and yeah. There was some sort of Yuri vs. Yaoi riot going on downstairs, and we were screaming at them from upstairs. I wonder if they heard us screaming DICKS DICKS DICKS and LOL GURO and DICKGIRLS from up on the balcony. ;-; We also counted the number of Narutos we saw (I think it was 7?) and Sakuras. Yeah, it was fun.

Other Viral had to leave after a while, so we ended up meeting up with Giselle and this Riku cosplayer to get dinner. We walked over to Bennigan's, and jesus christ it was COLD outside. ;-; We had to huddle together for warmth, holy crap. Viral's harem of men. That was the longest 7 minute walk I've ever taken.

We got to Bennigans.. sometime, and it took a goddamned long time to warm up after we got in there. D: We were the only cosuprayers in there, which made it kind of awkward, lol. I think the people working the front counter were a bit afraid of us, the woman that took Jenna's name down sounded kind of scared and disoriented. ;-; I don't think she realized that Jenna was female until after she got the name down. It made me lol.

We had 20 minutes to wait out, so we ended up sitting on a bench somewhere near the entrance. Odd stares from people coming in. The best part was when some foreign-sounding old guy came over to Jenna and went, "Oh my god what happened I'm so sorry. ;_;" after he saw her monster hands. We also saw some Gaiafags come in, but ignored them. We were discussing Apollo Justice until they called us for the table.

Jeez, I shouldn't have waited so long to write this, I can't really remember what we talked about during dinner anymore. I know a good portion of it was about dongs, but we spent some time taking pictures of outselves with Kamina glasses on too. ;-; I got it to stick on for 5 seconds, fuck yeah. Th-that means I'm manlier than everyone else at the table, holy shit. But uh, I know we talked about P3 and some other games, at least. I also saw a kid playing his DS on the way in, so I decided to get onto Pictochat and he was on, holy fuck. We ended up drawing flaming dongs and.. gaping vaginas the size of hallways. fffffdsfds lol

I wish Giselle had brought her DS in too, but we only had mine to pass around. After probably getting the kid into trouble, we ate dinner, lol. Tasty burger was tasty, even though I wasn't feeling hungry for the entire day. >: Jenna also.. blew bubbles in her drink while wearing Kamina glasses, wtf. And quiet Riku was quiet. I pointed it out and she started laughing. ;-;

I feel bad for the people that were sitting next to us, haha. They were glancing over curiously every time we started talking about cocks. And this black guy who was making balloon animals came over too, to offer some balloons. We didn't take one, though I wish we had. He was pretty much the only person that knew about Megacon in the restaurant, I think.

We paid the tab and left, though we didn't really think of putting a tip down. I ended up dumping all of my pennies on the table and then we ran, pffhaha. D: It was FREEZING OUTSIDE HOLY SHIT. Even colder than the walk over. My teeth were chattering quite hard, also. Lots of ZETSUBOUSHITA yelling and.. we started talking about Code Gayass and Moyashimon for some reason. We did manage to make it back to Jenna's hotel and waited for her to change into Jade, and then we left. I put on my Jade wig as well because I wouldn't have another excuse to wear it, so.. yeah. >:

We got driven back to the con. Everyone was at the animu rave, so there were probably only 10 or 15 of us hanging around on the bottom floor. We saw Minato and Yukari with a Sora again, so we joined them. Introductions and sitting in a circle, etc. Though before the introductions were done, we ended up with around.. 5 or 6 people joining us? Some guy that didn't really like animu came over to talk to Jenna and I, it was kind of entertaining. Talking about Anonymous fucking his friend up and how he kicked over a table in China and yeah, haha. He was the friend of a guy who had GL tattoos that Jenna had met on Friday, apparently. He was probably just making shit up with his stories, but they were still fun to listen to. ;-; And he picked her up! It was so funny! I have pictures. He offered to give her to me, o lol, but I declined. She fell over when he put her down since she was kicking around so much. ): lol

And I realize I never want to go to a rave at an animu convention. I went upstairs to help Giselle find Riku, and I wandered into the crowd around the rave area. It was terrifying. Fatties in bikinis and.. just generally ew. D: Lots of animu goths and emos and.. ugh. Yeah, I went back downstairs pretty fast after we found her. Gumshoe had joined us, so I got a picture of him and talked to him for a little bit. He was so awesome, pff, he even did the little motions that Gumshoe did and his expression was so perfect. ;-; I hope I end up seeing him again at Jacon and Metrocon, if I go. And I hope he gets a Franziska.

Indiana Jones also ended up joining us, wtf. He had a whip. It was lulzy.

Anyway, some of the people downstairs ended up making a man tower, but they ended up falling over. I did get a picture of it, though. And then they.. made a mantrain. Oh god. Seeing all of these cosplayers sitting on their asses and chugging around on the ground was hilarious. After that broke up, we decided to make a man pyramid for some god foresaken reason, except we were too weak to hold each other up on our arms and knees so we just ended up lying on top of each other. I was on top. ;-; I know people got pictures, but I haven't seen them yet.

And.. yeah. Doublechin also came over. :| She was dressed in this blue and pink oh god who knows what, with a see-through shirt and skirt. I don't want to think about it anymore. D: But uh, she tackled Jenna along with several other fantards. And since I am an AWESOME FRIEND, I sat on the side and lol'd at her until they got off, and then offered her a comb. And then threatened to tell Doublechin that I could hook them up if she didn't do the Soulja Boy dance. She didn't end up doing it though. :(

I, uh, I ended up making myself look like a dumbass by going up and doing the Soulja Boy dance badly with Indiana Jones and a few other people. At least my friends got a good laugh out of it though.

But, uh, yeah. Lots of fun at nighttime. My dad ended up picking me up around 10:30 or so, and we went back to the hotel room.

Sunday report in a bit.

One day left, plus an all-nighter and Saturday morning. Currently done: Dress, save for some seam finishes. Almost done: lollipop, goggles, Jade shirt, Simon jacket, core drill, Anise wig. Started on: Anise boots. Not yet started: Jade cloak, Anise cloak, Jade vest, Anise socktubes, Anise sleeves, Simon pants, Simon boots, Tokunaga. Still need to cut out bandages for Simon. Still need a belt. And I need more interfacing. Well, I'm in a fine mess here.

I'm going to see about going to Wal-mart tomorrow to buy groceries and interfacing. Hopefully my mom will say yes. Or else I'll just have to deal with some floppy things here or there. :|

Also looks like I'm bringing the sewing machine to the con or something. lol D: If I'm not finished with Simon on Saturday, I'll finish him at the con and just wear something else instead to the Vic Mignogna panel. Maybe Simoninadress? ;-; That would be kind of funny.

But uh, I only have enough interfacing for the backpiece of Anise's cloak so unless I can work something out, I'll either have two front pieces and a stiff collar for the cloak and my jacket, or a backpiece and floppy everything else. If I wanted to be really ghetto, I guess, I could use the backpiece that I already made for my other cloak and then just cover it up with my new fabric, but-- that's so ghetto. ;-; I might end up having to do that though. ugh. At least the maroon lining is opaque, so no one will be able to see the parts that I painted on with the old cloak.

Cutting pieces out for the sleeves atm. Need to start packing or at least find a proper luggage carrier, as well. I'm glad that I bought makeup last weekend, I'm going to look like hell on the day of the con. :|

And just put in the elastic for my goggles. Sew them down and I'm done. fuckyeah

I guess I should cut out pieces and make my bias tape tonight so I can get to work putting it all together tomorrow. I'm excited, guys. Don't know if this is good or bad excitement but I'm pretty excited.

Three days left, with Friday open for an all-nighter and Saturday open in the morning for last-minute things. Kind of feeling the pressure now. I'm actually thinking of doing the props now so they can be painted and left to dry, so I won't have to worry about a not-dry prop on Saturday. But it's better to be propless rather than costumeless. >: So I'm not sure. Going to cover the damned lollipop in paperclay completely since it doesn't seem to want to smooth out, but at least it's all nice and hard now. No dents from transport or little shits taking it and running around with it.

The dress is done, but I forgot to account for zipper space again and it's a bit too tight. Nothing too uncomfortable, but still awkwardly tight when I try to get the zipper up. Oh well. I guess another redo is on the way after Megacon. ;_;

Cut the pieces out for inner jacket and tried to for shorts yesterday, but kind of messed up on the shorts and recutting today. I guess I'll fix up my dress and finish the seams that I left yesterday, and then work on the jacket and Jade's shirt. Hand-pressed bias tape, fuck no. >:| But I can't find the correct color I need at the store, so I guess I have to do this anyway. Oh well.

Jesus christ on a stick, I'm going to end up finishing this with fabritac or heat-n-bond if this keeps up. lol laziness

And I almost keep forgetting about the damned shoes. Gotta get the shaping done at least so I can paint Anise's and get Simon's sewn together nicely. Don't have time to seal it unless it dries fast, so I'll probably only seal Anise's shoes once or twice before going over it with paint and the black parts with shoe polish. I hope they come out well, I'll end up wearing my Haruhi shoes again if they don't. The shoes match well enough, but I'll be damned if my shoes make us lose the costume contest. --not that they would, since all of the other entrants will probably be crap. :| /lol ego

Thinking of getting Voices of a Distant Star again, and then putting some animu on my mp3. Maybe What Dreams May Come, because it looks like a good movie but I couldn't even pay attention to it because everyone in the class was talking while I was trying to pay attention. GSG, probably, since I still haven't finished it (lol). a-and I'm not sure what else. I can just play Etrian Odyssey if I really get bored.

Cloak pieces all cut out, stencils laid out for painting tomorrow. Added paperclay details to lollipop and sanded base for core drill, going to add details to that tomorrow. I was going to start on my dress, but I couldn't use the sewing machine tonight because my mom would bitch at me for it being too loud. fsfsdfdsf. tomorrow it is >: I should also start on the shoes, but I can't finish them until I get some good glue to glue them down to the base. And I wanted to replace the craft foam anyway. Oh well. I'm not sure if I'm making the dildoblade this time either, because I want to but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. I was going to make it out of paperclay but realized it would look odd, so I'm hoping to get some wood over the weekend and be able to hack it into shape. If I can't, then.. no one will notice. I'm just happy that I have the money to do them all. >: I'll probably have to forgo some figures at Mega though. *and* I think Jenna and I are doing fail Abyss Rangers for the lulz of it, but I'm not sure. >: Waiting for her to decide, I guess. As far as I'm concerned the later the better, so it'll end up looking more fail than if I worked on it earlier, but I need to figure out my schedule for Saturday. Too many Anise costumes to wear. D: I was going to wear the Childish outfit in the car to the con, walk around in that for an hour or so, change into her normal outfit when the group meets up and wear that for the costume contest, and then change into the Devil outfit at night. Gotta figure out how we're going to fit fail Abyss Rangers into there. Maybe when we break away from the group and walk around before the costume contest.

I probably won't post a finalized schedule until around a week before the con. Hell, maybe not even then. As far as I know I'll end up finishing the fail outfit in the hotel room before I go to the con, lols. THE LATER THE BETTER :| Though it'll take only two or three hours at best to make the bodysuit considering I won't be trying on it. Visible stitches and ill-fitting, fuckyeah.

So anyway, last night I was so bored that I decided to help Jenna fill up her fail folder. Went through the Tales of the Abyss costumes on coscom, ended up clicking on all but one or two of them to pull fail images from. Goddamn. It made my face hurt from grimacing and it made me sad that people do this to my fandom. ;-; WHY YOU DO THIS. I also looked at ToS cosplayers but after I pulled 4 terrible cosplayers from the front page, I had to stop because I was too afraid to go on. D: And.. and then we went on CosplayLab and the pictures oh god. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS. :|

And now I will be filled with NERD RAAAAAAGE if anyone at the Tales group fails. Really. :/ I'm expecting it to be so much win it'll overwhelm me, especially after all of the fail on coscom and cosplaylab. Because it really shouldn't take this much effort to make a decent-looking TotA costume. I mean, I looked like win compared to most of the people on cosplay.com even with my FINISHED THE NIGHT BEFORE ANISE COSTUME THAT WAS RIPPING AT THE SEAMS, and... that's kind of sad. >: But yeah, we'll end up talking shit about them loudly and in their faces if anyone fails. Do not want more fail TotA cosplay, guys. >: Make me have faith in my fandom again.

Regarding the TotA group, Jenna.. might not be competing in the costume contest with us. She'll probably compete as Jade with us anyway because there was no competition at ALL at Chibi-Pa, and no one's going to stir dramashit up because BAAAWWW she won at a small con which was full of fail SO SHE CAN'T ENTER THE COSTUME AT A CON WHERE THERE ACTUALLY MIGHT BE COMPETITON. I hope she does, the group will feel so.. empty without a Jade standing on the stage with us. D: IT'LL JUST BE THE LESSER LIKED CHARACTERS. and Lukefaggot. But then again, it's Florida, the cospray dramu state. :| Oh well. I'll lol if anyone starts whining over it.

Speaking of dramu, I just found out that someone was whining about the Chibi-Pa cosplay contest results, wtf. It didn't blow up into a ton of drama but some butthurt faggot on coscom was going and saying something about "kids can't sew" and that most of the winners in the cosplay contest cheated with bought costumes, haha. It made me smile when I heard about it. Not to be egotistical but I bet they were thinking of me when they wrote that. lulz. When we went on stage, Andrew piped up and said something about eBay so everyone automatically assumed that I bought my costume from eBay too. :/ They were about to shush us off stage before I interjected at the last minute. gj judges, since my group member bought his costume off of eBay and he can't sew, I obviously can't sew either and bought mine as well. GOOD REASONING

I can't get it to search for "chibi-pa" and "cheating" at the same time, and some of the threads it pulled up don't even relate to what I'm looking for at all. pfft. k well. I pulled an all-nighter getting Anise's cloak/dress/socks done. I got around 3 hours of sleep and my parents came to pick me up from Jasmine's house at around 8AM. I got dropped off at the con, said hi to Victoria, then went upstairs to find the faggot. It wasn't that hard, what with the ghetto collar and all. >: IT WAS MADE OUT OF CRAFT FOAM LOL. And safety-pinned/hot glued to her shirt. Oh gosh. D:

Victoria went downstairs to put on her cloak, and she never came back upstairs, durr. SO we basically sat in front of the dealer's room for a good hour, just talking. It was pretty good fun though, AND SOMEONE ACTUALLY RECOGNIZED US, OSHI-

I went into the dealer's room when it opened, found the TotA figures after a good while and got asked for a picture by two of the people there. They were $10 each and I didn't have money (DURR HURR JENNA OWES ME $30 well k $27) to buy them all, soooo I just bought Anise and Jade with the $20 I had on hand. >: I'm going to get Guy and Tear and Ion at Megacon, if the vendor is there (and they probably will be). Annnd eventually Luke and Natalia. Went back outside, durr.

We made a homo sign with the stuff she had on hand, which would have been lol if someone had made an interesting comment. People were more bothered by my rubik's cube than the gaaay purple homo sign. More of a reason why people suck, plz.

A-and I got to try on her Jade coat, which is fucking HUGE on me. D: IT WAS BIGGER THAN MY DRESS LOL. And I couldn't figure out the buttons, durr. TOO MANY BUTTONS, ARGH

Weeeee went downstairs so she could change into her Jade costume. It was pretty epic when she ripped the front of her Dist shirt apart to get it off. She couldn't get her purple lipstick off, durr hurr. I just stood there laughing for around 15 minutes while she tried to scrub it off her face with soap and it didn't work. D: She finally got most of it off by munching on it, but there were still a few spots of purple on her face. It was pretty funny. >:

I- I can't really remember what we did. We went upstairs and downstairs a bunch of times, complained about being hungry, got random pictures taken of us, got pictures taken of us at the photoshoot outside, talked to a bunch of people, made fun of the gaypron, and.... durr. Not in that order, either. We were trying to figure out ways to get a dollar so we could buy a burger, but we finally gave up and decided to walk to Dunkin' Donuts instead. I almost had enough money to buy us a half-dozen donuts. I had over 50 cents in pennies. I should probably clean that out of my wallet soon.

Anyway, her mom calls while we're counting out pennies and SHE WENT TO FREAKING T.G.I. FRIDAY'S. HAHA. PERFECT TIMING. So we walked baaack to the hotel to wait for her mom. It smelled like fried chicken the whole way we were walking back. FUCKING TORTURE ARGH

She finally showed me some of her poooorrrrnnnn while we were waiting for her mom. Her mom's so nice btw. D: Brought us three boxes of food, and got me a drink for free too. Fried macaroni and cheese is so delicious. >: IT WAS AMAZING.

We went outside to take some photos on the boardwalk with Giselle after we ate. There were cans of beer and boxes floating around everywhere, wtf. IT WAS PRETTY FUNNY. We ran into some pretentious people that basically called us pedophiles (wtf), when they had been careless enough to lose their own kids. :| oh well. We took some pictures and then my camera got maxed out.

Um. Okay. Went to ASC today with Jasmine and co. I didn't get my costume done this morning but my cloak *is* painted and I just have to sew the socks together as well as put on the zipper for my dress. And fix my dress up and finish up the apron and ptu the bias tape on the cloak. >: IT'S NOT THAT MUCH TO DO, HONESTLY.

Durrrrr, where do I start? We went to CityPlace first to see Juliana run her marathon, and then there was a one hour car ride until we got to the con. We stopped at Wendys/Arby's first to eat though.

Went inside the con. Went to the registration desk. Saw Jenna, tackled her. D: Got the lollipop (HUEG LIKE XBOX) from her, and then got my bracelet thing, and then we went to the dealer's room to get her some red contacts. She was like, $25 short, so I paid for her. She owes me back in porn and pancakes. And monies, if possible. I also heard that there were TotA figures in the dealer's room, so I'm going to have to buy them (maybe not Luke lol) when I go back tomorrow. There's a whole other story about that though.

First, we went to the bathroom to get her fucking contacts in. She looked like a dumbass when she was trying to get them in, and I was trying to get pictures of her looking like one. It didn't work out very well. >: We ended up going downstairs to get some saline solution for her contacts, and then she forgot her belt (!!) upstairs in the bathroom so I had to run all the way up there to get it. I was barraged by comments of "lollipop-chan kawaii desu ne" all the while I was going up there, by the way.

Brought her back the belt, went to the bathroom, then figured out that we needed a lens case. Facepalm. Ran back to the gift shop (with her face moustache on, WHICH SMELLED/TASTED LIKE ASS BY THE WAY) and bought her one, sooo now she owes me $27 in monies and porn and pancakes. And then it had to soak for a few hours before she could wear them. >: o well.

One note: SHE WAS WEARING FAKE EYELASHES AND GLASSES WITH NO LENS, LOL. I TOTALLY WASN'T EXPECTING IT.

After that, we just... took up a seat in the hallway? And I laughed at the QUALITY art in her doujin. And then she made commentary for this other one she brought. And she wouldn't let me see her binder of porn (IT WAS HUEG, BY THE WAY) BUT I WILL CONVINCE HER TOMORROW. D: RLY. but yeah, we did just sit there for a full two hours or so and talk. It was pretty fun. O: Very fun. Obviously, no one knew who the hell she was. We were going to go back to her hotel room in the other Marriott to get her Dist collar, but she was being lazy. >: o well.

uhm. Then everyone else wanted to go (:|) sooooo I was stalling with Jenna and tried to get a room with Victoria, but my mom was being a cunt and wouldn't let me stay. I started BAAAWWWWWing when I got out of the hotel, said bye to Victoria, and then left. :D; I have to hang out with her for a little while tomorrow at least so I don't feel bad.

Well, we ended up going to Boomers. I sat outside on the benches, tried calling Jenna twice, failed, talked to Jasmine for a little bit, tried calling her again, then gave up and went inside. Dragged Jasmine outside to talk, went back inside and played some motorcycle game with her, and then apologized to Ms. Baxter for being emo. :|

And then we just played some games and came back to Jasmine's house and now i'm sleeping over.

A little story about me being able to go to the con tomorrow though...

I got dropped off at my house for a moment to pick up some of my stuff. I asked my dad if we could go to the con tomorrow too. He said no, but after a little while of arguing my mom cuts in and tells him to take my brother to the Ft. Lauderdale science museum so I can go to the con tomorrow.

I- I blame Helen for injecting this crazy idea into my head. After I leave high school and before I enter college, I'm going to take a huge roadtrip around the US and Canada to hit all of the major cons, and filling it in with minor cons while I'm waiting to go to the next big one. XD And... I'm saving up around $5000 to do this? And I'm going to be wearing my old costumes for every convention that I'm going to, premiering a new one at the last con I'm going to? And obviously, it's going to be really huge and extravagant.

It's such a stupid idea, but I really want to do it anyway. XD Argh. I'll file this into my mental stack for the future.

Anyway, I've only got 3 more days to work on my cosplay and I'm going to put all that I can into it. Obviously this means that I won't be able to finish NaNo this year unless there's some kind of miracle, but I guess I can start working again after I get that cloak painted and my bridge built for Research. There's 11852 words that I have to write per day, but I won't be able to work too much during the night unless I get Anise done extremely early. So I'm going to try to write during school as well. @_@ I have Intro to Info. Tech on Friday as well as access to the library (I'm probably not going to be eating lunch anyway), so yeah. I'll be able to get some writing done there. I guess I can always make my font white to keep other people from reading what I'm writing? Yeah.

I've almost finished Jenna's apron but I can't decide if I want to put the bib on it or keep it as is, which is just a frilly apron skirt with a heart pocket at the moment. I'm thinking of just bringing her both pieces and then letting her decide if she wants to attach them or not later. I've got to cut out a new piece for Anise's cloak again since I messed up another one painting, but I think I've got a good mixture of paints now so that I can paint the cloak without the paint bleeding or becoming too light when it dries. I'll just have to see tomorrow if I get the whole thing finished and painted tonight. I think I'll have to paint the back tomorrow though since some of the design goes onto the collar as well and I obviously don't have the pieces attached yet. XD I'm also remaking the dress/sleeves tomorrow, so that's going to be fun... And I need to make the socks sometime tonight/tomorrow, though I need to get my bridge done first.

AWESOME DAY TODAY AMIRITE GAIS???

We ended up going to... Walgreens, Circuit City, Target, Michael's, Toys R' Us, Office Depot, and Lowe's. Not bad for just four hours.

Back from Chibi-pa. It was amazing. Con report tiem.

Let's see. Well, I got up extremely early in the morning and just camped out until Office Depot opened, and I got my prints done. I picked up some posterboard and then we went straight to the con.

I met Andrew there at around 10 because the people at Office Depot took extra long in getting my prints done. We rushed through the prereg line and got in there just in time for the dealer's room to open. Of course, I was poking around until I happened upon one of those huge Kyouya plushies, and then I went rabid trying to get it down. :D It was only $20! Ahaha! After making my purchase, the sugar patrol came over and took a picture of us... and then gave us chocolate. Eee! I also saw a Haruhi (Ouran) and I hugged her and we reconciled. We were comparing plushies. :(

Kathleen came in around here so we went outside to figure out how to get our artist's alley stall. Andrew and I went in line to sign up for the cosplay contest, and GUESS WHO I SAW. HUGHES AND JADE CURTISS YESSSSS. Jade also had a Tear and Luke, but they were nowhere to be found. She later told me that I was one of the only people to recognize her. :( Sad. Well, we signed up and then went to set up the stall. One of us was manning the stall while the other ones were running around meeting everyone. I saw and hugged so many awesome cosplayers. /o/ I saw this really tall Axel in the dealer's room and I just had to hug him, and he picked me up and spun me around. It was so fun!

There was also a Sora outside. :D Also also also I saw a Meroko when I was walking out the dealer's room and I took a picture of her for Shad. There was a Nekozawa guarding the Dealer's Room entrance and I got a picture of him as well as a hug. And and and and Ritsuka~ He was missing his Soubi when I first saw him but I got a picture of him and Soubi together later. I also saw a Mamimi, Ash, and some Naruto person that I don't know when I was charging up and down the stairs.

I went back to the table for a little while and saw a Yuki Nagato, and I was practically screaming at her until she turned around. XD I got a picture of her~ I got a picture of Haruka and Mamimi together, though there was no Takkun. Also took a picture of a cute L and Misa (traded bookmarks for one of their keychains today) in the artist's alley. AND BEFORE I FORGET AGAIN JADE'S NAME IS JENNA. ok anyway. Kathleen and I had to crawl under the table to get out because we were blocked on all sides. It was pretty fun, actually, but now I have red spots on my knees.

We didn't end up selling much. I think I only sold one set of Axel/Roxas, and then Kathleen sold two pairs of earrings. We learned that we needed more stuff and a fancier setup to attract attention.

Um. Well, there was some screaming going on in the lobby so Kathleen and I went to check out what was going on. Cid Highwind was holding some sort of inpromptu event and there was a huge circle of people. They first had this dance contest sort of thing, and oh my god there was this amazing breakdancer there. Seriously. He and Cid had a dancing contest, and in between they were asking for people to come out and dance. So I just jumped into the middle of the circle to do Hare Hare Yukai, and two Narutos followed me. XD It was amazing~ After that, L stumbled into the circle of people and held up a free hugs sign. I was the first one to tackle him, and everyone else followed. After that, I think Cid was coazing Sephiroth and Shinra to dance and we were supposed to maul them or something if they wouldn't comply. They eventually did!

And he tried to make Kakashi strip. It didn't work out that well. Um. And the best part was probably the part where Cid bootydanced with Cloud as Cloud gave Sephiroth a lapdance while everyone sang the Barney song. They also dragged all the Pokemon cosplayers over and made them sing the first season theme, and auctioned the Itachis that were at the con. He was first taking yen bills and I got one from Andrew, and Cid took it and never gave it back. XD Andrew was totally fine with me wasting his monies, though, so that's good.

Then they had a limbo contest. Captain Kuro and Axel were amazing, considering that they were so tall. Me and Tobi got to the last round but the game pretty much died around then, and the circle broke up. We had to go to the costume contest anyway, so we pretty much just lined up for around half an hour until we finally got called into the event room. /o/ There was lots of screaming and I took photos of almost everyone who went up. There were a bunch of amazing cosplays, and I'm surprised some of them didn't win.

Well, Andrew and I won a Judge's Choice award!! omg! I was so happy, considering it was my first con/cosplay. XD We didn't get any prizes since there was a lackage of them compared to the people that were there, but bragging rights are still so awesome. I met Luniara after I got out of the cosplay contest, I think. I talked (spazzed) to her for a little bit before I went back to my own table, and then I went and bought a print from her. She even signed it~ (I wonder if she's going to Megacon this year)

Andrew and I were pretty hungry by then and Kathleen had already eaten, so we were going outside to find a place to eat. Well, Naruto and L and some other people were outside and preparing to walk to Burger King, and they asked if we wanted to come with them! Of course, we said yes. We walked over to the Burger King that was really close by. There weren't many cosplayers there when we got there, I think only two of them were sitting in the back. We ate and as we were finishing, all of them flooded in at once. It was such an amazing sight. ;_; Naruto and I did Hare Hare Yukai in the place before we went back to the con.

And then we went to the dealer's room since we didn't feel like sitting down! I found this totally awesome Kyouya doujin for only $10, but it was all in moonspeak so I couldn't read it. :( Andrew had to leave a bit after, so we went to Cosplay Improv by ourselves. There were a bunch of hilarious skits~ I wish we would have more preparation time, but I guess the one I did with the "anime fan" guy wasn't that bad.

After that, I think we set up the table for a little bit and then went to change for the Sadie Hawkins dance. It was amazing~ Some guy dressed up as Ultimate Muscle, and there was a guy in a banana suit. That's right. I was trying to get him to do the Peanut Butter Jelly Time dance.

They played a bunch of really loud songs that I didn't know~. I requested Hare Hare Yukai, and they played it before I had to leave. I danced with Captain Kuro, too! /o/ They were playing God Knows when I was leaving, bah. Well, it was pretty fun, though lacking in people -- we formed a conga line, though! I almost got thrown off BUT IT WAS FUN.

Also also also, I'm really tempted to make a cosplay for Rin Tohsaka now too. It looks easy, I'll probably be able to use the same skirt pattern from my Haruhi cosplay to make her shirt, and then I'll just have to get a red long-sleeved shirt with a neck and embroider a cross on the front, then sew some buttons on the sleeves. Her socks will be hard to find, though, so I'll probably just buy tights. I have no idea what her shoes look like. :) Oh wait, I could probably wear the shoes I have for Haruhi, or maybe I'll buy a black pair for Rin. And and the hair ribbons are the same color as the skirt, so I could use the same fabric for both.

The only problem is uh, my hair's too short at the moment to be Rin. I'll just cosplay as her for next year's Chibi-Pa, when it's all grown out again. And I'll get Jasmine to make it wavy. |D Whee~

We went to JoAnn's but they didn't have the color of fabric for the skirt and auuugh, so I guess we're going to Wal-mart next week to check their fabric department. I also need to pick up some embroidery thread from there because I'm going to embroider the "N" on the collar.

Well, I'm going to do them in this chibi style with a simple background.



I'm also thinking of making one or two nonchibi bookmarks but I already have like 7 to make. From left to right: Axel, Roxas, LOLRAITO, L, Misa, Sora, and Riku.

I think the D.Gray-man print looks pretty lame too, actually. I'll try to figure out a better composition for it later because Allen looks so boring just.. standing there.

And I'm getting my Gunslinger Girl DVD box later when my dad's preregistering me for Chibi-Pa. Haha, I feel kind of bad now. I had no qualms about whining for things before, but now I feel guilty if my parents get me something after I beg them. Oh well, HOPEFULLY I will make enough cash from Chibi-Pa to be good for my Ouran DVDs when they come out in '08. Or I will be sad. :(
