Finished reading Kafka on the Shore. Decent book, but I'm not sure if I like it more than The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle or not. Another ambiguous ending, lots of symbolism and things you have to figure out by yourself. Murakami said that you had to read the book several times to get the actual meaning of it, but I'm not patient enough to do that, haha. >: I did read it pretty quickly though, faster than it took me to read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.

I'm still trying to find a copy of Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, but no luck so far. Barnes and Noble says it's in stock at the store but it wasn't there any of the times I went to look for it. So I need another book to entertain me for now. I guess I'll go look into some more fiction books when I have some time. D: I was supposed to read The Joy Luck Club but I haven't started on it at all yet, only read the first story and then something out of the middle. I guess I'll read that for the moment being, until Ballad of a Shinigami and Kino no Tabi 2 comes out.

Another week until Megacon, dress pieces are pinned down and cloak is being painted, though I have to redo one of the pieces because paint spilled on it and.. yeah. ugh. It happened last time too. I'm just lucky that I still have enough fabric left to cut out another piece, I didn't think I would have enough but I guess I did. Still gotta buy a few things, so I'm banking on finding them at the mall over the weekend. Otherwise I'll just see if I can borrow them from someone else until I can buy my own. It'll be a lot of trouble either way. >: I've gotten pretty much everything else worked out, though, so I really have only those two things to worry about. Everything else I'm pretty sure I can get done if I work really hard over the weekend and during the week.

I'm, uh, addicted to this song right now. wtf. The full version's surprisingly nice. I couldn't really get into the TV size because it was boring after watching the full episode, but listening to it by itself is.. good. ;-; Same way with the Kaiji ED. augh. I need more songs to listen to.

And anon released Ten chapter 1 fuckyeah. It's on my desktop right now, but I'm going to wait until later to listen to it. Going to work for a while, and then come over here to write my essay for English. >: I kind of want to go to sleep but I'm too busy to take a nap right now. D:

Just went to Barnes and Noble, bought The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Kino no Tabi. Didn't find Hard Boiled & Hard Luck by Banana Yoshimoto, but found her other book - Kitchen. Looks good, I want to read it.

I'll post reviews for both books once I'm done with them.
