here we are now, entertain us

Got back from the photo scavenger hunt and Wal-mart two hours ago, posting from my dad's computer now.

I went to Wellington Presbyterian Church at around 3:30 (AND DIDN'T COMBUST OMG), and it was quite lucky that I got there at that time because everyone was just about to leave. Kimberly was there (of course), but Jasmine was at the mall with Brianna or something so she couldn't come. We (it was a group of five, plus Kelly's mom) went off with a disposable camera at around... I'm not sure. But it was pretty soon after I left.

We first hit the Publix and medical center (there's a really cool 3-d statue of a cacudeus in front <3) to take two of the photos, because we recognized two of the spots that were near there immediately. After that, we drove down to the Wellington Memorial to take another picture of the WWII memorial. We had thought that another photo would be at the Publix nearby there, but we were wrong. We also got a beautiful picture at the lake behind the Wellington Pool (which I will link later). We drove down to the mall after, but not before we hit the Wellington branch library to photograph the book drop. Alas, it was blocked off -- another wrong. After that confusion, we went to the Barnes & Noble near the Green mall to take a photo of the bench there. We then drove around to Flannagan's (or something like that) to take a picture of the restaurant sign. After that, we drove around the mall to take a picture of the "West 43" parking sign.

We went to Pearson Park (Wellington Community Park) after that, where we got two more photos for our hunt. It cost us a bunch of time because we had to take two photos (one was far off on the trail) and run back to the van, which was parked kinda far away from where we were taking the pictures. We then drove down to the roundabout and past, after which we hopped a fance and took a photo of a Wellington Equine sign. We made a U-ie after we realized that a few of the pictures were back at the Publix we had gone to before (Reel World cinema), and got three pictures there. Reel World, Publix sign, and a sign that we had placed in the "unknown" pile before. While driving to PalmsWest, I spotted a bus stop that we had placed in the "unknown" pile. We got that and a PalmsWest sign when we got there.

We also hit the Royal Palm Beach library to get a photo of the book drop there, and got another photo that we had placed in the unknown pile. We also passed a Marathon gas station (which we had needed, but didn't get because it was on the other side of the street and we were rushing for time). We hit the SuperTarget and Lowe's for our last two pictures, and then back to the mall.

We were the second ones to reach the mall, with Kimberly's mom's group there first. After everyone had met up, Jeremiah and Matt (I think) went to CVS to develop the film while we ate dinner and walked around the mall. I got Lotus Express (of course). A lady that worked there (who I think my mom knew) thought I was Korean before I started speaking Chinese, haha. Kimberly, Kelsey, two other girls, and I were in a group and walking around the mall together. We hit Limited Too, Hot Topic, Sanrio, Waldenbooks, Sweet Factory, and Bath & Body Works (not in that order, though) before we had to meet back up at the food court for the results of the contest.

We tied for fourth place, but that's okay. It was still fun! By the way, Sweet Factory is a total ripoff. I bought half a pound of candy for almost 6 dollars. I had $5 left over, so I was going to get something at Sanrio, but I couldn't decide what. (I finally went with the My Melody stationery kit, but I couldn't go back to get it before we left for the church.) I was totally craving a Peach Pizazz smoothie from Cafe Guava before we left, but I wasn't allowed to get it. Pah.

Oh, I spilled some sauce from the leftover food I had on my skirt while we were walking back to the food court, so I had to take it off and wear my shorts by itself. They reached up to mid-thigh so they were pretty short, but I'm glad that I at least had something underneath so I wouldn't have to wear a wet skirt for the rest of the night. Kimberly and I played some foosball before I left (she won 9-0).

After I left, my parents and I went straight to Wal-mart. And that place is fucking cold when you're wearing short shorts. It didn't help that I was carrying a stack of food that reached up to my chin while running around looking for my mom, either. Haha. I was IMing people while I was juggling food items, as well.

By the way, did anyone know that The Omen is out? Damien is such a cute little kid, I swear. I probably won't watch the movie unless someone wants to watch it with me, but DAMIEN IS SO CUTE. AHH.

Some other things I forgot to mention before are: I READ PART OF ANOTHONY RAPP'S MEMOIR AT WALDENBOOKS YAY BUT IT WAS $25. And Legend Halloween events start tomorrow, eee! I can't wait for the masquerade and trick-or-treating. Mayu's going to be a butterfly and a pirate-loli, respectively. (Unless I change my mind quickly for the masquerade)

And... I think that is all. I may be going to Jasmine's house for a sleepover next week, since it's a three-and-a-half-day weekend. (We get a half-day on Thursday and a day off on Friday.) And if so, then we just might be going to the mall or a movie. Hurrah!

...I can't wait until November. I've come up with a parody!

"November 1, 2006. Today, I begin writing without a plot." There would be more, but I can't remember how the next few lines go in RENT. Bad me, I'll have to watch the movie some more. And find time to watch Kikujiro again, grr. And Moulin Rouge.

Aaaanyway, I think this is the real ending to this entry. I'll leave you all with the link of the picture I took at the lake today. (I LOVE IT SO MUCH)

uh

Never mind, ROSE won't load up. I'm too braindead to write right now, so...

Bedtime is yes. I've been waiting for Neko to get on. I guess she went to sleep right after work. XD Photo scavenger hunt this afternoon, I'm going to call Kim when I wake up and see if I can go over to her house.

Goodnight!

So I started learning another piano piece tonight, Lilium (music box) from Elfen Lied. Ichigo's Sheet Music only had the music box version for piano, and Shilin's version is way too hard for me. XD I got the song down in a few tries, though. I'm getting better at reading the notes quickly~

Of course, now that I'm addicted to piano again, I've fallen into a complete artistic slump. And it's no help that my muse is still cranking out ideas, because they have nowhere to go. And I still have a huge to-do list (anyone want to see it? I'll take a screenshot of it later) to finish.

Bah. I think I'll start working on my new journal layout soon, as soon as I can figure out who to put in the header. Do I even have 8 characters that can fit in the header I'm planning? Maybe I'll work on a website layout instead.

Anyway, not much to talk about, we took our Palm Beach Writes in Language today and it... sucked. I was rushing to get it done when the bell rang, and I scribbled down the last few sentences as everyone was packing up. I don't think half the class finished, either.

Well, there's really not much to post, other than my to-do list.. so.

Bam, bitches!

Now I'm off to work.
