Well, Carissa came over a few hours ago. We played a little DDR, then watched some anime and Moulin Rouge. <3

Today was kinda suckish, other than the fact that I got to stay up late last night. Stayed up until 4:30 or so before I got tired and went to bed, which kind of sucked. Of course, I was expecting Carissa to come over in the early morning, so I kinda did have to go to bed -relatively- early. I woke up at around 12 or so.

Now, apparently, we were expecting some people for an open house, so my dad and mom and brother left for the mall at around 1 while I stayed home. I didn't want to walk anywhere, too lazy. After a while, dad came home and I went to the mall with him. Got some McDonalds for lunch. The people for the open house didn't come after all, so I called Carissa at around 3:30 or so and told her to come over. She got here at around 4 or so, and stayed until 9.

And I just got on the computer, I've been playing Psychonauts since she left. It's so fun. @_@ I might be a little stuck again, though, I lost track of the bunny in my 3rd trip to Raz's mind. Walkthroughs don't help, so I have no idea where the tower is now. I probably could find it if the world was a little BRIGHTER, but the contrast on my TV is already turned up all the way and I have no way of making the screen lighter. Bah. I'll try my running around method tomorrow. It usually works, but it takes a long time. Hmm.

Gotta go soon, so I'll cut this entry short. Today was boring anyway, nothing much to really write about.

Oh myyyy gooooddddddd. Today was awesome.

After I got kicked off of the computer last night, I hung out in my room and wrote for a bit. And then I got bored.

So I walk out to the living room (it was around 1:30 or so) and pop in Moulin Rouge. Oh my god, I loved it so much. The movie has so many awesome dance scenes, especially the part where Christian first visits the Moulin Rouge. Oh my god, that scene is nuts. I totally love it. Fast camera angles, people everywhere dancing, loud catchy music ('Cause we can cancan!). And the part where Satine enters. Even though the songs aren't original to the movie, they still fit in the context very well. And the crazy camera angles make it all the better. It's just great.

The musical was just as good compared to RENT, and I'm a total RENThead. I watched it twice today. Yay! Once by myself in the early morning, and once with Jasmine after we got home from the mall. And I'm planning to watch it again tomorrow when Carissa comes over. Speaking of the mall...

SO. Today I went to the mall, and it was fun. I got there at 10 in the morning, after rushing for the entire hour before to try and coordinate an outfit as well as get everything together. I met up with Kimberly at the food court, and after looking around for Jasmine, decided that she was not there and went off to look at stores. We first went to... well, I can't remember. I think it was Limited Too or Hot Topic. Or Cafe Praga. Or Sanrio. Probably Cafe Praga, I think I was showing her places to eat. And then we went back down to the food court, no Jasmine. So we said, "screw Jasmine, she probably forgot to come" and set out on store-hopping. I'm pretty sure we first went to Claire's (CLARE'S?!). We didn't buy anything, just looked around at the stuff there. And then we went to Icing by Claire's (CLARE'S ICING?!?! *dies* I was literally cracking up when I said we were going into Clare's icing.), didn't find anything I really liked except for a pair of socks. But they were too expensive, c'est la vie. After that, we went to Bath & Body Works and looked at the gewd-smelling skincare products. Yum. I really want a cherry blossom bath set, but the things there? Way too expensive. We also went to the Apple store where I scoffed at the computers, and then down to Sanrio. I looked around, but didn't find anything for my friends at first... Though I did make note of the stuff they had there. Aiiieee, the stuff is adorable. Then we went to Hot Topic. After walking around the store a couple of times, I bought a pair of gloves and hairpins for myself, and a set of hairpins for Candace. And then we went to EBX, right across from Hot Topic. Yay! Games! They had Psychonauts there for the Xbox, which I promptly spazzed over, and a FFXII stand in the front of the store. I spazzed over that, too.

Wow, this is getting to be one big paragraph, so I'm going to break that up. Anyway, Kimberly got a call while she was looking at the Star Wars games for the PS2, and went outside the store to answer the call while I was looking at the TotA stand.. poster.. thing in the store. Apparently, Jasmine had been looking all over for us while we were store-hopping, and was waiting in the food court. Luckily, she had only been there for 10 minutes or so, and she was still there when we went to look for her in the food court. She had gotten there half an hour after the meet-up time. Lame.

After Jasmine joined our group, we went back to EBX. And then a few other stores, which I can vaguely recall right now. We went to Cafe Praga to eat lunch, and it was GOOD. Jasmine and I split a ham and cheese sandwich and a peach pizzazz smoothie, and I got a peach iced tea. Yum. And then Kimberly bought pound cake, which she split with us. I also got this can of peach/mango soda, which was yes. Mmm. After that, we went over to Waldenbooks and pretty much hung out there for an hour or so before we went down to the Sanrio store. Or maybe we went to Waldenbooks before Cafe Praga, I can't quite remember. It doesn't really matter.

Bought a bunch of stuff at Sanrio. Charmmy Kitty stickers for my cell phone, a Chococat gift set, an Angelic Hello Kitty gift set, a pack of Cinnamoroll stickers, and a big New York Hello Kitty sticker. I wanted a My Melody stationery kit and a notebook.. kit.. thing, but they were both too expensive. I had to borrow a bit of money from Jasmine just to get everything I wanted to buy. We hit a bunch of more stores, went to Cafe Praga and bought another smoothie, and then went home. Well, we went to Office Depot before she came to my house, because my dad wanted to buy a TI-30X calculator.

After we got back, Jasmine and I watched Moulin Rouge and then went on the computer for a bit. And then we played Psychonauts, yarrrr! The game is hilarous. "Fire is pretty." We were switching the controller back and forth, and Jasmine was helping me get past the whole training level... thing. Because I sux at this kind of stuff. I'm going to play more tomorrow, if Carissa and I get bored of DDRing. Which probably won't happen, so I'll just play when she goes home? She's bringing over RENT, her two DDR pads, and her DDR games. Whoo-hoo, party time!

I'm not sure if I have much else to write, so... I'll cut it off here. I think my muse left again. /emo

OH YEAH. One last thing. I was reading this article a few days ago about a Japanese serial killer since Mopal had linked it in her DA journal, and Kanth IMs me while I'm reading it on a new screenname with stuff like "i want to suck on your haiirrrrr" and "you have pretty fingers". XD It was hilarious, I think I freaked out when I saw the IM at first. Or at least wtf'd.
