Ohohoho. Today... was total suxx0r.
We didn't do much at all, really. x: Classes were boring, I yelled at a light pole, didn't get voted in for Most Unique ("I am the most unique person in this whole damn school! Screw you fags too!"), did more boring school stuff, finished all homework during classes, ranted about the gay song we're singing in chorus (which I refuse to sing, Bach is rolling in his grave), 'Cold and Fugue Season' which is a rendition of Fugue in G Minor by Bach.
Okay, maybe there was one highlight of my day.
At the end of school, Alek, Juan, Kimberly, Jasmine, and I were all walking down the stairs together in the back of the 8th grade building. Near the bottom, Alek decides that he's going to go Matrix and jumps off of the 4th stair. He landed on his feet (or so it looked like), and then crashed straight into the opposing wall. I think he did a flip or something. It was so. Fucking. Funny. XD
Me: OMG ARE YOU OKAY?! *LMAOs*
Alek: *lolling, gets up*
Jasmine + Kim + Juan: *lolling*
Me: *mouthing* WHAT. THE. FUCK WAS THAT. *lols*
I couldn't breathe for a few minutes because it was so funny. Oh god. ALEK IS SUPEREME OVERLORD OF UNIVERSE
Uh... Let's see. I got a few things done in Gym today while fitness walking, I was planning for Gaia HGTV and Mayu's art contest form while I was walking by making hand motions in the air to act like a touch-screen computer or something like that. :D I can do long division by that method, and I can remember Gaia things fairly well, so it should be no problem working that way for me. I have a pretty good memory when it comes to certain things and they just staaaay in my head, so I can jot things that I've planned down later when I have paper or when I can get to a computer.
Oh yeah. If I didn't write about the Ballad of Magellan yesterday, I will today. :D It was so fun yesterday in U.S. History. Ms. Tunno was playing the Ballad of Magellan really loud on the speakers yesterday for the first quarter of class, and she passed out lyric sheets. If you sang along to it, you got extra credit (of course, which I did). XD It was fun, and I'll have to download it eventually. For now, though, I'll just listen to it on YouTube.
I'm kinda getting into classical music again, and I know my dad has a few CDs or something like that. I wonder if he has anything for the piano, because I know he has a CD for the cello? I'll ask or something later.
And I've apparently gained a taste for whole-wheat bread. Mmm, fiber. Btw, hemerrhoids are gross. If I have one or get one, I'll cry. D: It didn't help that Wikipedia had some... graphic images on them, too. Gah.
Microsoft apparently designed a HIGH SCHOOL. NOT. FAIR. I WANT TO GO TO MICROSOFT HIGH SCHOOL AHHHH. T_T They don't carry around books, they carry around LAPTOPS. Their cafeteria is designed like a restaurant instead of a normal lunchroom, kind of like a food court at the mall, I would think. God, it's not fair. They get to move around their schedule, too. Their computer tracks the amount of calories they eat, everything. NOT FAIR. It would be perfect for a fatty like me. ;_; (Actually, I'm 5'1" and I keep steady at 92-93 pounds, so I'm not really a fatty. I just think I am. XD)
Ugh, Microsoft HS. WHY DO YOU TORTURE ME WITH THESE THINGS I CAN NOT HAVE, MICROSOFT? WHY?! And I am so pissed off about it too. XP They put the high school in a... working-class area of Pennsylvania or something. The students were selected by lottery, and it's mostly black people that go. I'm not being a racist or anything, but WHY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF YOU LET SO MANY BLACK PEOPLE GO, THEN WHY CAN'T YOU LET ME GO?! I LOVE computers! ;_; Now I'm really stereotyping, but most of the black kids at my school are wanna-be gangstas with grillz and everything! Don't waste all of this technology on a useless generation, give it to me! D: Gosh, I am so filled with jealousy right now. I am going to hell. XD (Oooh, seven sins, baaad)
Neko and I are officially getting a Demayu category for the upcoming Feedee/Legends art contest (YES), so make sure you look out for that. :D It'll open the Sunday after next, October 1. I love Nat so much for lending me the 80k we needed. X_X She's holding my gifted Demonic Pitchfork right now, so I will definately pay her back. XD My lovely H.E. gave it to me for a gift, and I can't risk losing it.
Umm.. I don't think I missed much else. :D Tomorrow, I may be going to the Asian food store (FINALLY) and Wal-mart, or something like that. I hope we go to Publix, though. :\ I need more Bawls Guaranexx to quench my thirst, not some gay water or orange juice. BAWLS GUARANEXX, BITCHES!
I'm also working on some art that needs to get done, finally, my rendition of Red (Little Red Riding Hood) for Fables and Raine for Kanth. Hee. I think I might work on a Sweet Lolita costume design for Mayu eventually, because I adore that style and I know she would love it too. (THE EPITOME OF ALL THINGS GIRLY AND CUTE)
Speaking of Sweet Loli, EEEEE BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT. I am so fangirling over everything that they sell. D: God, I would die for a full outfit set from that place or even just a pair of Vivenne Westwood Rocking Horse shoes. They're adorable, they're platformed shoes with laces that go up your legs like ballerina shoes. Sadly, I hate my thighs and I think they're too fat to wear a pair of nice shoes like those. They go up to almost $1000, anyway, so there's a fat chance of me getting a pair. XD Still, a girl can dream, can't she?
I'm... really kinda grossed out how the spread of anime and Japanese fashion has spread lately, though. Anime and manga is getting into every nook and cranny now, I see people in my school now that obsess over these things. Please, get some brains first, and then we'll talk. Thanks. Japanese fashion isn't so bad, but sometimes I just have to step in and say "eww" when westerners try to dress in FRUiTs or EGL styles. I look at the EGL community on LJ for ideas sometimes, and to look at what people are selling (even though I'm dirt poor), and I sometimes see photo shoots done by the people there. Westerners do not pull off the EGL style well, okay? I have yet to see a real photo that pleases me. x: I'm even picky with the Asian models, really. XD I know that most of the people in the Asian photos are professional models, but I can expect these other people to at least realize how bad they look in these cute frilly clothes, can't I? Okay, maybe I'm being a bit harsh here, but I can't deny the fact that their fat westerner ass just doesn't look right in these clothes.
And FRUiTs style? Oh, my god, if you can't do it right, don't do it at all. Now this style westerners can actually pull off pretty well if they tried, but if you look bad in the clothes, I suggest you don't put them on in the first place. When I see totally mild-looking people crammed into these clothes, it makes me want to cry. (cough bradsgurl on DA cough) She doesn't look that bad, but her face and her hair just doesn't make a match with that style of fashion. Now, don't call me a fashion expert at any pace (I will laugh at you if you do), but I know when I see a face and an outfit that just don't match.
And you "punks" and "goths", I'm looking at you too. Stop being a fag, stop thinking you look cool or are an individual just because you dress in clothes from Hot Topic or something along those lines. Hot Topic is a retail store. You are not unique.
Ahaha, while I'm still on the topic of clothes, I've fallen in love with British school uniforms. Mail me a full set, PLZ. I will wear it to school every day and I will love it. XD I think they look adorable, and while I can't really tell if they would look good on me or not, I'll at least try. I do have a plaid skirt that looks like it could come from a set, and it doesn't look TOO bad on me. Too bad I don't have a shirt that goes with it anymore. :[
Now, what I'd like to do is create my own patterns and sew my own clothing to wear to school. Of course, with that, I would have to do a bunch of research and practice on teh sewing machine. I think I'll save that for a later time.
Let's see if I can find anything else to ranble about. Oh yeah, I found this really nice narrative in my Literature textbook today. It's called 'Flowers for Algernon' and it's a really good story -- anyone heard of it? The ending, to me, was a bit predictable, but it made me tear up nontheless. If you can find it anywhere, it's a really great read.
...Okay, I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and it was apparently expanded intoa full-length novel. I MUST HAVE IT.
And I think that's everything I have to say for today, so that is all. :D Good night! (Unless I get on later and have more to say)
